discovered by john grant of above & beyond, petrișor dima signed his first track, “first division”, to anjunabeats in 2008, after his demo was played three weeks in a row on trance around the world. “transport / offset” followed the same year, and by the end of 2008 he had five releases on different labels.

a steady run followed on anjunabeats, enhanced, armada, monster tunes and fraction records, supported by above & beyond, tiësto, armin van buuren, ferry corsten, markus schulz, matt darey and pete tong. “green line” landed on anjunabeats volume 7 and later soundtracked an edc los angeles trailer; “always look back” was picked by armin van buuren for a state of trance 2011 and went on to the top 1000 trance classics.

producer, composer and dj, he moves between trance, progressive trance, progressive house, chillout and ambient. alongside the club work he spent around ten years writing short piano pieces as a personal exercise; alter ego asked to collect and remaster them, and they became pean (2014), his only album to date, close to the neoclassical side.

after a hiatus from production, he is looking ahead to a return to the studio.
